Always one of our most popular product among the head-fi customers since QA’s inception, we are not growing into a 3rd version of the audiophile 3.5mm interconnect cable. Also known as the auxiliary (AUX) cable, it connects to a wide variety of devices, but primarily mobile and portable ones.
Improving from the previous version, the cable has now double the number of cables from 4 to 8, litz braided in a round structure to retain on the flexibility of the cable as per 2nd version. Next step up in quality of the cable is in which we are using 7N OCC Copper and Silver-plater Copper strands. The teflon insulation remains but they are much tougher this time.
Continue in the up-scaling of the cable is the use of an upgraded 3.5mm plugs. For the quality-discerning consumers, Viablue is one that possesses all the qualities and factors which place them up at the high end range of 3.5mm interconnect plugs. Made in Germany, the build and detail of the plugs are just precise and flawless. Importantly, the sound quality of the plugs “sing” for themselves; sound signature is neutral and pure, with significant improvement to quiet down the background. If you think the bottom ends cannot be anymore tighter and fast, then you gotta give this a try.
DO NOTE: these Viablue 3.5mm plugs we are using are the latest model. How could one tell? New model has an added height relief at the top of the casing to allow ease of insertion into recessed ports (eg. due to thick mobile devices covers).
Soldered entirely with WBT 4% silver content solder to upkeep the high quality of connections throughout.
