In our own showroom usage, the higher number of cores used in the speaker cables inevitably gives us a wider and open image of sounds while retaining the details. Responding to customers’ requests sometimes will create new products for us, and this is the birth of these twin-core speaker jumper cables.
13 AWG at 2.5mm² is theoretically ample for most cases as speaker cables or jumper cables. By combining two cores of them in a twisted arrangement, the effective gauge size is now 10 AWG. There is an undoubtedly solid feel to the jumper cable as a result of this.
Crimped at the ends are the authentic and high-quality yet affordable CMC Spade connectors made in Taiwan. They use just as pure a copper in material with thick gold-plating only commonly seen in higher-priced brands and especially not in any other Chinese-made OEMs – this is why we have continually been using CMC connectors in our speaker cable applications for such an immensely high price/construction value. The connection is a cold connection, meaning there is no soldering involved. The crimping is non-reversible so we do not think there is hardly any fear of the cables possibly being pulled out at all.
Like many high-end speaker jumper cables, we have them sleeved as well with a beautiful matching red/black PET sleeve. It adds a heftiness to the overall handling in addition to increasing the toughness factor of the cable.
High purity copper in cables with high-quality gold plating in connectors is a successful recipe for big, open and musical sound. This exact combination used in these jumper cables will give you just that – allowing you great bi-wiring connections over any stock jumper plates.
Length is nominally 23-25cm end to end. Options of Spades or Banana plugs are selectable.
