Single-conductor in the form of coaxial cable configuration is often the best for analog unbalanced single-ended connection. Gotham GAC-1 Ultra Pro has 7 strands of Linear Crystal Oxygen Free (LCOF) Copper at thickness of 0.2mm as the centre conductor for the signal transmission. They employed a dual layer of bare copper wires shield, 0.1mm in diameter, weaved in opposition direction of each layer, with both layers covering 100% coverage of the entire length of the cable. In the aim of cutting down the noise and interference, Ultra Pro version of Gotham Cable GAC-1 adds another layer of conductive plastic between the conductor itself and the isolation of the conductor, making a sandwich kind of conductive material between the 2 copper shields and the conductor isolation itself.
