Crafted in Taiwan, these premium plugs set a new standard for AC connectors, surpassing various options out in the market, even at higher price points, with innovative and well-thought engineering in the construction of the plugs.
The Carbon Fibre used in the making of the outer shell boasts exceptional properties – lightweight, extremely tough, chemically resistant, thermally stable, and minimal thermal expansion. Notably, it excels at shielding electromagnetic waves and minimising external interference, yielding superb sound qualities in transparency and quietness as result. The making of the outer shell also fuses high-grade materials in polycarbonate (PC) for strength with polyurethane paint for durability but with a soft touch. These combination produces a glossy and rich texture that is both stain and abrasion resistance, all while evoking a high-end aesthetic look and feel.
Electrical contacts of the plugs are triple-layer electroplated with oxygen-free copper. It creates an ultra-thin, corrosion-resistant passivation layer on the surface of the contacts, protecting against environmental and chemical (both alkaline and acidic) damage, ensuring a lasting lustre and durability.
Even detail down to the screws is meticulously crafted. They are made from premium 304 stainless steel and white iron which have undergone weak magnetization treatment to prevent unwanted magnetised interferences creeping into the power cable. The cable clamp is so cleverly-designed that one will never find the power cable aligned to one side, as in some cases of other plugs, again after tightening – it could be adjusted so the cable will always exit centrally out of the connector’s rear.
And the outcome from all these remarkable qualities of the QA Carbon Fibre AC connectors when paired with either of Gotham highly revered power cables? It is a power cable suitable for any equipment in hifi audio providing accurate imaging and big, transparent sound with good verticality.

Got this cable to try as Taiwanese hifi products are often much better than China ones but still affordable. Seriously I never expected these plugs to sound so good.. I have gotten Gotham power cables from Jordan before so I know how their quality. But these carbon fibre plugs have pushed the boundaries to a next few levels. The mids were immediately noticeable to be so distinct and with weight, so clean overall. And the staging has definitely widened and open up as well. I use it on my Spring DAC and it sounds so enjoyable with beautiful musicality now. The build quality of the plugs is fantastic looks gorgeous. I will definitely consider to change my other power cables to this slowly.

The sound becomes completely natural and effortless. Everything opens up. It plays with great precision, yet at the same time feels light, smooth, pleasant, and very musical. The 3D presence, almost like a real stage in front of you, is something I have not heard from any other combination. And my other power cable is in the 1000 dollar range. It is simply that natural, that real, and at this price a true gem.
