Right on our release of the Upgraded and Modified BG7TBL Higher Quality 10MHz OCXO Master Clock with Counter Display, the 141B is a Clock cable straight from the STAR SERIES to use for connection of any 50-ohm Clock generators to devices for syncing.
At the heart of the cable is the very high-end HUBER+SUHNER Sucoform 141 FEP made from Switzerland. Famed for their RF products across all professional application, HUBER+SUHNER is the trusted brand for many growing audiophiles in their high-end application of Clock cables. Top manufacturing quality synonymous of the Swiss is this solid-core silver-plated copper steel right at its core, with an impedance of 50-ohm which is what most Clock devices required. Not flexible at all for being a solid-core cable, but it can be bent and formed accordingly to one’s placement of the Clock generator and Clock-receiving components at will at appropriate lengths.
Terminating at the ends are equally capable BNC connectors from Amphenol. Solidly-built with gold-plated centre pin, the Amphenol BNCs are rigidly crimped on the ends that so far QA could not possibly detach them (yes, it needs to be a successful one-time termination). The 50-ohm rated connectors are highly tactile and locks tight on securing onto BNC jacks.
High end components used in 141B allows maximum precision and conforms to high stability of frequency signal-travel. It is this often-overlooked upgrade that can give the exquisite and delicate nature of Clock generators a further optimisation in performing at their best with great quality Clock cables like this. Extra tightening of bass response and added clarity of air with remarkable improved PRaT can be expected.

*Do not assume using 75-ohm cable is fine for Clocks syncing even though the length is short. Transmission of Clock signals is all about accuracy and timing, and there is no worse way of shortchanging the whole connection than to use incompatible cable as far as impedance goes, even though such pairing may not be audible or even measurable – why compromise at this stage when your hifi journey has come to the level of using Clocks?
